I had my sisters escort spinning 180 last night...missed about 5 billion trees with some rapid arm movements and landed in a field. thank f**k there was no one around and the field was frosty or i would still be there. apart from about 2 acres of grass on the underside of the car it seams ok..back wheels felt like they were buckled at first but after i had checked for damage and removed debris it now seems ok.

I was only doing 15mph too as the rds are full of ice, but it seems the governments love of potholes in the road was enough to send the car carearing into the field..thanks tony!

Escorts and wet rds really don't mix...if theres no weight in the back its semi sideways on most corners while driving at most sensible speeds. Tyres and everything are fine..i think its just the cars design...stick people in the back and it handles perfectly well.

Although my grandads polo fox feels like fred flintstones car at the side of the escort for comfort it certainly shows it up on the slippy roads.
Just don't let my sister know or my eyes will be buckled..n black.

I broke my wipers  I very stupidly turned them on before defrosting the screen  Nipped out of work and took it to VW hoping it would be something covered under warranty, and turned out just to be a fuse, costing me a total of just over £16.

Still I got to see the very good looking bird that works there, man that's a sweet ass  8)
