Is this a problem with my car or is it something that affects all models? It seems such a silly oversight

Steering tremble/shake...
I am the only one who gets poor steering shake when going over speed reduction bumps (the ones when coming into a 30mph limit/roundabout etc).

Didn't you have a wishbone replaced, due to - erm - circumstances?
Do you mean full width "sleeping policeman" things, or the narrow square "pads" things?
I haven't noticed anything odd, other than occascional clunking sounds sharp jolts back through the brake peddle from the driver's side. Bu tthat seems to go away by itself about a month ago...

Yeah, there the ones. I thought a new car would cruise over those things, but the shake is pretty terribleKarlM wrote:if you mean the raised paint thingies then it depends on how fast i'm going...
bizarrely the faster i go the worst the affect is![]()
so those speed reductions work then
DXG: Yeah, I did have the 'mishap'. But the everything that was damaged was bolt-on/off and it was fully re-alligned (my Dad did it as he owns a VAG approved bodyshop) and he said there was no problems
