its a very cheap kit and you are going to get cheap but would anyone bother with it?

plus i've seen alot of polos with silver centred door handles. what are they off the golfs from scrappys? i'm not sure.

is there any shop on the net i can invest in performace brakes and other bits and pieces that specialize in polo's?

oh and wheels. id like deep dish 13's where can i get good value (not too pricey) wheels?

cheers... nikolarse

(happy xmas everyone)

Silver handle centres - Found on most mk2 golfs (i havea few spare sets if you can't find any)

Brakes - Easiest upgrade for the gt brakes is to find a front g40 setup, as g40's have vented front brakes.

wheels - Most popular place to buy wheels has got to be ebay, but usually means trawling through loads of auctions. Is also worth looking on all of the vw/polo forums as theres usually someone selling a few sets.

hope this helps. Pettsy

EDIT:Who's is that GT? I want the number plate!!!!

I have one of those kits on mine, they are very good for the money. I can't fault them one bit. Handling is very good. They are the FK, AK line (no frills).

They aren't like coilovers, but the back has about five circlip places for the spring seat to stay. I put it on the top circlip so the back isnt lower than the front.

the suspension kit is the same as what i have fitted to mine (at least i think it is lol) i have the 60/40kit with the back dropped down to the second lowest setting - gives an arse down stance but im hoping some lowering caps or 70mm springs on the front will sort that! - as for the ride, its pretty good, can be a little bumpy, but then again no kit that lowers 60 odd will give standard ride comfort.

60mm isnt too bad either, ive got the back down really low (lower than it should be) and since ive had the centre box removed ive found it fine to drive around with!

oh and the silver handle centres can also be found on most of the earliar mk2 polos

speak to rocco-jocco (not sure if thats his name on here) from porka, he always seems to have newly refurbished deep 13's
