not much difference as far as the shape goes....the G40 has a slightly different interior (although i prefer the standard one anyway) the suspension is lowered just slightly too....but mechanically it's chalk and cheese, G40 is a beast and the 1.3 well.....errrr isn't.

Coupe, Hatch, Derby - these are body types. G40, CL, GT etc - these are model types.

Yeah, they're both Mk3's.

The difference is, one's got a supercharger and a 2 figure insurance group, the other's got a carb and far lower running costs.

G40 has
Supercharger
Intercooler
Multipoint Injection
Close-ish Ratio Box
Vented Brakes
Arch/Sill Extensions
Black badges
Red Striped Bumpers
Spoiler On Drivers Wiper
Sports Interior
Beesting Aerial
Rev Counter In Clocks
3 Spoke Steering Wheel
25mm Lower than Other Mk3's

all i can think of at the moment, oh, and bucketfulls of G-Smiles

Multipoint injection, close-ish ratio box, supercharger and an intercooler?

Right ok and whilst I'm here I need some alloys for it desperately, could you name a few common/good looking one's that would fit my motor, I'd love some deep dish one's but they're going for mad prices, anything that's cheap but looks clean? and also should I get 14" or 15"?

i don't know how much you class as cheap, but i do like 14" ATS cups, if not a little un-original...

if your after cheaper i'd look on ebay, although for deep dish you'll be looking at £150 minimum really, i got my scirocco alloys for £40 though

don't forget the rear anit roll bar and the rear brake bias type spring thing. plus 13" BBS alloy wheels, thicker carpets including boot to compensate wider spare wheel. larger diamter exhaust is another. o and a steering damper! :) tis what i can think of! also believe there is a slight difference with the track control arms if i remember rightly.

as for:
