No, standard ones are 45 so it's best to stick with them really, otherwise the speedo could be reading wrong.

Has yours got 50's then?

The only reason someone would have stuck 50's on is cos there cheaper. Mine had 50's on it.

Saying that i've just bought 50's for the front of my new wheels...

with 50's on, when your speedo reads 70mph, your actually doing 72.45mph. Little interesting fact!

The Speedo usually reads more that what you're doing I know that much, my Tom Tom was indicating 106 when the speedo said 110.

You'll get a lot of different answers asking that mate, some say Toyo's some say Yokohama (I think) it's personal preference I think.

I'm going for Toyo Proxes when I replace mine though

I haven't actually used it for a proper trip yet, only messing about when I'm out, to direct me home. I did notice though, it told me to go to the end of the road and go right, where there is no right turn :?, maybe I need to update it

when going above 100mph your speedo can be anything up to 16% out, either way. You'd usually find its 5-10mph lower than what your speedo says though.

To work out what difference the tyre size makes to your speed, i use this...

I think all speedo's are out in general, even under 100mph. Tom Tom, always reads different to the speedo.
