It entirely depends on cost, but a new-generation Polo GTI is on the cards for June/July
If it turns out to be too expensive, or it doesn't have the option of speccing HID headlights (I want them!), I'll keep my current GTI until I need to upgrade to something bigger!
Don't matter what others think, they're just clueless I don't regret getting mine done at all, transforms the front of the car I think - VW should have made it like that.
Depends where you go, others that posted about it when I asked were quoted somewhere near that for both, I just wanted to use that bodyshop as I know they are good and there isn't really any near Bedford.
I wouldnt smooth the bumpers, I tried to keep mine as close to showroom condition and factory spec, as possible. I think its a shame when you see cars that are modded to much! thats not a dig at you modifiedmadness, each to their own.

I think that the smoothed bumper doesn't really look too modded, it looks factory. I can't see why VW didn't make it like that, removing the rubstrips is as far as I'll go well and audio, apart from that, that's it.
hmmm well i keep changing my mind to what car i want next! i'm happy with the G40 by a mile and am gonna hold on to her for a very long time! so if i had a few cars to choose from they would be
