Pic Request: Gti gearknob

Hi there, you lucky gti owners you....

Does anyone have a pic of a Mk5 Gti gearknob lying around? I've found the partnumber but the dealer is not in the habit of ordering something just to show me how it looks...

I have a spare non-GTi Mk5 gearknob with attached gaitor if you're interested.

Hi Tigor,

I've considered the Mk5 (regular) gearknob but it looks to be grey-ish, and I was hoping for black. The rest of the car is nearly all black, so it wouldn't look right I think.

And since Josh told me the GTI version also says 'Gti' on the knob itself, I've decided to go with a Mk4 Golf gearknob.

Not a cheap option, but better nonetheless.

Funnily enough the Polo GTi in the Mk5 sales brochure doesn't have GTi written on its gearknob.
