To be honest, I'm not sure how much you'd find second hand S3 seats for but brand new I should imagine they are in the region of £800+ (each) easily.

On my quest for spec I searched for leathers. I think if you are gonna get leather seats the best/cheapest option is probably to get them recovered in leather, I think a guy on here had it done ok.

The prob with ones off ebay is that you don't know how well they have been looked after. I will repost if I find the name of the company that does recovering in leather.

Found it for ya http://www.mjinteriors.co.uk

I'm still thinking of popping down there and getting mine done, but I have already spent a TON of cash on my GTi so I think ill leave it for now.

If you do use em, please PM me or post here the result.

or you could fit a set from a vr6, the front fit but the rears you have to change the backs, really easy, clip on and off because the rear seats on a mk3 golf are wider, i ve done it, but i didnt wire in the heater elements it looked sweet, then i modifed them to fit my mark 2 golf that was hard work,

Forget the leather. If your going to get it re-done just go for alcantara. I think its so much better. But it costs a bomb!

I got an informal quote for a retrim with leather and alcantara, to have the front seats, rear bench and door cards all trimmed (half leather seats with alcantara centres and door cards) would be ~£1500... it would look so fine though! 8)
