Hi guys, I am after a gearbox for my MK3

Hi guys

I have just brought a 1994 MK3 1.0 coupe and I am impressed by how smooth it is to driveand how well it handles

This is my first VW and it goes well for a 1.0

However.............

The gearbox is a bit noisy in first gear and the clutch is a bit stiff. Does anyone have a spare gearbox for sale in the wiltshire area?

Would any other gearboxes fit?

Would a 5 speed box fit?

Sorry to barge in wanting advice lol

, you'll probably get a better response if you put this in the mkIII section, maybe ask about the compatibilty options etc, then put an ad in the wanted section to see if anyone has one.

most mk2 boxes fit mk3s anyway so no harm done.
