Not sure what coilovers im going to get, need todo some extensive research. Im going to get some 16" wheels, but im thinking i wont need coilovers once ive fitted them so ill have to see. Maybe the 16" wheels will be enough to fill the arches...?
I Love the wheels i have at the moment but feel 16" ones would look better!

some 16 inch bbs RX split rims off the mk 3 golf gti anniversary would be sweet. Would need stud adaptors aswell.

Given that the 16" RX2 splits come in four stud also, not worth the hassle of adapters for them.

Only thing they're right hard to find for a decent price! If i got adapters i would go down the Audi or Porsche route aswell!

are the RX the same as the RX2
may be a misunderstanding here. BBS RX alloys like on the polo ( two piece) but 16 inch. Not the one piece RX.

Almost! The RX2 are split rims! Meaning they're more expensive, and in my opinion better to look at!
RX
RX2
Note the bolts in the triangle parts of the alloy!
