lights were deffinatly a good idea, done mine now and they look really good! if you are looking to do them cheaply, there are some sets of front clears on ebay! i got mine for £20 whereas they usually retail at around the £30 mark!
if you wanted to change them even more, you could put a light eyebrow on! personally i don't like the badboy style but JE design do one and it looks much better

i absolutly love this polo, saw it in performance vw a year ago and ever since then i have loved it! it has the je design eyebrow, it just softens the ligts a bit, making it look a bit more modern, a bit like a mk5!
this is what mie looks like with the clear indicators!

Clear front's are what I'm looking for, I might give Bora headlights a try one day, Tony was telling me about how it was a footery job getting the Mk4 Golf headlamps on, sounded fun... i personally wouldnt copy that anyways... he's made his trademark :D

Hi'ya,

A warm welcome to the forum :P

I'll try and get some pictures of my car posted soon, but the lights were the first mod/upgrade that I looked into...

1. I bought a pair of clear front indicators and swapped them over for the old orange items (a 15 minute job, max).

2. Went out and bought some new bulbs (forgetting that I needed new bulbs to go with the new indicator lenses - doh!)

3. Got a nice pair of matching clear side repeaters (which included bulbs this time).

Total cost... about £40

I'd love to find clear tail lights, but not having any luck with that so far...

Rats... another great plan foiled.

I was trying to keep everything very clean (White car and all clear lights would've been nice)

Ne'ermind... I think I'll go for smoked rear lights. Other jobs to do first though... like get my new intruments in.
