got some new seats in today. what do people think?
they are alot lower down than the standard ones as they're on the standard runners.

I like that, suits the colour scheme very well,

Were the seats a direct fit?

no, fully custom installation.

a friend did them for me for £40. used the old runners with the new seats- no sub frames. so thats how they are quite low down

i'l get some pics of how they have been put in.

Same here, Recaro's would be the only aftermarket seat for me, like the S3 ones, mmmm :D

only got them cos they look good imo and werent very expensive. dont worry if i had the money for reccaro's i would for sure!!!!

I got a bargain once, that would have been ideal for trimming, I bought a Cobra Sidewinder for £80 and they retail for £300, it had been a display model, and faded.

Never used it and sold it for £100 :D

How about side airbags? Here in Finland one cannot change front seats because it´s not allowed to "downgrade" oem safety equipment.

Seats with side airbags it a whole new story, but I guess those are too expensive so nobody really does that.

Btw. Your interior looks alot better that way!
