as for modding, hmmm. for my mk2 squareback, i c, hmmm, g40 brakes, g40 suspension, g40 wheels, new bumpers, spray the wing! and a couple of odds and ends, not gonna go over the top though! nice and cheap! :wink:

Doug, does that mean that you've got a red mk3 G40, Blue mk3 and your planning a Mk2 squareback project? :lol:

i'm doing interior and cleaning the first year, possibly put the alloys on but i'll see, then when my insurance get's cheaper i might take it off the road and get a GT, then after a year, put the GT lump in my squareback then maybe do the exterior like a nice black respray :wink:

yeah i have three polos! selling the mk3 blue coupe soon though, then the mk2 can be my daily runner/cheap projet type thing! :wink:

hypojam - try spraying your bumpers about 5 times in a few days with "simoniz, back to black" my bumper looked exactly the same and now it looks like brand new :wink:

I've found autoglym bumper gel to be the best, and lasts for ages.
