They fill up the arches nice, having wider wheels has the handling improved or the reverse...........

Ahhh, that explains it all!!

do you know the offset of them, and do you know the offset of the std gti 15" bbs wheels by any chance?

they look great, its just how i want my gti to look, although im going to do a couple of lill things so its a bit original.....

Im planning on getting the 16" version of the rx2s, and even then probably some spacers to beef them up a bit.

Thanks for the info though

Somewhere like Carnoisseur would do it, not too sure where else, it's just gloss black vinyl.

Well, you'd have to drive like a van driver - use your wing mirrors!

But seriously, if you need to clear the rear window, carrying some glass wipes in the boot would do the trick, you could pull over and clean things up within a couple of minutes. Its a tricky trade off between smooooth looks and sensible functionality I guess, I'd be willing to guess that Phill has probably kept the motor and wiper in case he needs them again some day? :)

Cars like the Beetle, Bora, Passat and such don't a need rear wiper because all the crap that is picked up off the road gets all over the boot instead of the window, whereas on a hatchback like the Polo, Lupo and Golf the relatively flat back end of the car means the muck gets higher up!

Looks fooking mint mate... I like it a lot.

Thinking about getting the black b-pillar treatment for mine...

You need tints! 50% sides and 30% rear screen. £150 from Tinter in Leicestershire.
