Wishbone Replacement

Post by loopydoo2002 »

Has anyone replaced the lower wishbones on there polo? Ive got the new ones but they dont have the ball joints at the end, do you just bolt the old ones on or is it a case that i have to purchase new ones aswell? Any help is appreciated!!!

i did mine too...replaced both.

also did the bottom ball joints and ARB links too...bought all the parts from GSF :

https://secure.gsfcarparts.com/shop/

wishbones are about: £30 inc vat..
ball joints were about: £13 each side...

ARB link rods had to come from vw and cost about £15 each cos mine is a 16v mk4...but if yours is an 8v, you can get them cheaper at GSF.
