It's a shame your selling,

My insurance next month will be £1300 too!

Would you be willing to sell the coilovers on there own? I still have my old gti suspension if you need it.

Thanks

yes i would, but i think the cost of swapping all the suspension over and the cost of the coilovers would be more than buying a new set.

i do have some 50mm eibach lowering springs if ur interested tho??

Got them on already!

How much would you take for them? My mate is a mechanic, he could do the swap, what do you think?

£1300 sounds a lot for insurance,

ive just been getting quotes and mine will be about £600

im 22, got 6 points, and ive just written off a £19k car, full fault claim :?

so i would have 5yrs no claims at my renewal, but i will now have only 2.

have you tried admiral?

Looks a lovely car for a great price. if its still about in about 4weeks when i get my money for my car, ill defo have a look

good luck

Im 20 have a polo GTi and a 206 HDi 110 tuned to 143bhp, but luckily dont have to worry about insurance as my dad owns a garage and i am on the garage policy and can drive any vehicle as long as the value is under £25k!!! problem is he still tries to make me contribute towards the increase in the policy since i have been on it but i have avoided this so far!!! I say garage policy insurance is the way forward!!!lol

£1300 is alot :( . My girlfriend paid about £800 for both of us, fully comp, with Admiral. She only has 1 years no claims & i've only been driving a year come February.

Try paying £2k for a 10 month policy :D

Been driving a year, but was a names driver, so have 0 no claims.

It was just over £160 a month, then I got my bumper smoothed and it's now £177.16 a month.

Ok cool.

I dont live with my parents anymore, but i am often there...

anyway, im not selling, im waiting for a cheque from my insurance company, or a decision on weather to repair, my mazda Rx8....i lost it big time and went through some armco barrier...whoops. Now, with my age (22) and loosing my no claims, i cant justify the cost of the insurance if i get it back, so either way, its going :(

The polo gti is a car ive always liked (dubber at heart!) and insurance will be £600 odd so its much better.

Will keep an eye on the thread, incase its sold :)
