The alarm

The brochure doesn't say which category the Sport TDI alarm is and no-one seems to know, does anyone here know?

Is it thatcham or just normal?

I assume that it's the same original manufacturers fitment as on my wife's 1.4 tdi SE. The Insurers said it's not Thatcham approved. Apparently very few original fitment alarms are.

I rang the thatcham helpline, and I found out it's Thatcham 2.

Still find it odd though as it has deadlocks, interiors sensors, an immobiliser and is only 2

The discount isn't that great, but it's better than nothing I guess!
