Ok, crystal rear lamps....
Can be pulled off on newer cars like mk3 golf, newer polo's, but look like arse on older cars like mk1/2 golfs, mk3 polo.....
Old cars just dont benifit from the 'new' lights.

I've seen the lexus lights you are on about. They look really nice, but weren't too sure if they would fit the Mk5 either.
The clear-ish rear lights look good too. I saw a woman parking up with them on her GTi. I asked her where she got them from and she said she did it herself with clear sticky tape.
Didn't look close enough, but if done properly, would you be able to tell it was tape and not the clear-ish lights?
