Personally I think we've had a decent record under Sven, but then you could argue it's also the strongest squad we've had for several years as well
Sven to leave after WC

Any thoughts?

Im not really up to date with the situation but a mate briefed me...
I think they should get rid of him before the world cup as the teams stronger than ever before...
I've never been keen on sven so the sooner he leaves the better ...
I don't think he even likes football, he looks lost most of the time "errr this isn't sweden".... haha

If Sven goes before the World Cup, we then have the hassle of finding a new bloke for the job and after all that having the squad adapt to the new manager's methods and style of coaching. Far better, despite the reports of what Sven has said and what he might or might not have done outside the job, to keep him on board until after the World Cup before finding a new national team coach, if only for stability in the lead up to the tournament. We won't be winning anything if he's out on his arse and the FA are left looking for a new manager!

Don't really know whether its for the best he stays or just pisses off now. I feel for him that he's been set up like a kipper but he has never helped himself has he! Well apart from helping himself to the odd bit of totty.
Its probably best he stays so tactics aren't changed and other general changes when a new boss is in charge!
Come the end of the world cup though, Sam Allardyce is my vote. He's a proper Manager. Reminds me of "mike Bassett England Manager"

I'm not sure about the 'englishman makes sense' stuff.
I mean, yeah preferably it would be good to see someone home grown leading the team and there are a few likely candidates around at the moment.
But I dont think it's necessarily damaging to have a foreign head coach. Other footballing nations have had foreign coaches, and i dont think it's perceived as indicating their own coaches are incapable.
I'd sooner go with a coach (not necessarily sven) who's gotta half decent chance of bringing the cup home for us, than a less capable coach... just because theyre english.
