BBS bolts and hub adapters

Post by M@Turner »

I'm seriously looking into purchasing some 16" BBS RXII's but am finding it extremely difficult to get some 4x100 stud pattern ones! Where as the 5x100 are quite abundent.

so:

Where can i get gold of some spacers that change stud pattern from 4x100 to 5x100. And is there any probs i might come across?

Also: Is it possible to get hold of the bolts that hold the centres onto the rims on the RXII's, and how much are they?

Cheers in advance people!

You mean the split-rims bolts yeah?

Basically they're a pain in the backside to find on the general market. Four of mine snapped when refurding my 15" RXII's and I've had a effort to find replacements.

Luckily, http://www.justmatz.co.uk are in the process of supplying me with some replacement bolts, costing me £1.20 each.

As for the 16" RXII's in general, I was lucky finding mine in 4x100 just before Xmas. Only other thing with them is that 195/40/16 tyres are not the most common size to find.

cheers mate. I can see me having to put the idea of gettin these alloys on hold for the time being. Got a holiday to save for!

I want to win the Euro Millions! I'd give every GTi owner on here 10K each to mod there dub. 8) It would leave me with about £98million then to mod mine.

P.S Don't hold me to the 10k thing!

dude i seem to remember that 4 x 100 to 5 x 100 isnt possible as the bolt holes overlap,.. i may have got this mixed up with another bolt pattern tho!?

Cheers Scott. It appears that Venom motorsport do an adapter 4 x 100 to 5 x 100 but according to performance alloys, it isn't possible. Looks like i'll have to make some calls or send some emails.

Looks like my cheaper way around things is turning out more expensive! bugger.

jus checking that they do show a 4 x 100 to 5 x 100 so surely they must be able to reverse that!? (look in right hand column, 4 down...)

I was wrong......seems its possible. Think i'll probably just end up waiting for a set of RXII's in 4x100 to crop up. I just hate waiting!

Thanks once again guys for the replies.
