Post by M6TT F »

Tried to order a black grill badge from my local dealer - only to be told they dont do one for the polo - I tried to explain that it's probably from another VW, but they were useless!

tried to search the archives - but couldnt seem to find any threads..

anybody got the specs I need to get one ordered!

cheers

The one you need is off a Mk4 Golf.

I got mine through VAGParts, believe it's listed on the website.

Hmm, it now has it's own seperate listing in the Polo section. Well that should be the one you need there!

The standard-fit silver front badge is a "thick" one I reckon, if you take it out and have a look it's certainly thicker than 1cm! So I'd go for the thick one, but the bottom line is that both will fit so it's up to you.

The price on these is pretty good, I'm gonna have one (and a rear badge too) myself!

Cheers
