Bumpers and arches

Post by Matty2021 »

The bumpers on my cl are super faded, and i was wondering what the best way to get them back dark is? "Back to black" only tends to last a short while, but i cant just spray them black coz they arnt originally are they? Theyre more dark grey. Also is there a place i can pick up the gt/g40 arch trim coz i cant find them anywhere.
Thanks homies 8)

I use Carplan Black Trim Wax. Very messy but very effective!

Rub on with a sponge/soft cloth. Leave for a few minutes then rub with a different cloth to remove excess and help kinda seal/buff it

i use an auto glym gel! it works pritty well and lasts, also messy!

might be worth doing a couple of coats a week to layer the darkness, it may last a bit better then!

one thing i have heard of people doing, is using old engine oil to blacken the bumpers! it does work, might be worth a try!

I sprayed both my bumpers and arches with bumper black paint and they stay black, no need for gel or treatment, just black month after month :D
