Smoothly does it?

Post by Ant_43 »

Just got a k&N panel filter today for my GTi, but when fitting realised that the shop has ordered the wrong one without the extra bits on the side. It kindof fitted, but think it mite be a bad idea to use this one! Damn car shops!

On a different note, do any GTi's on here seem not to run very smooth? it seems ok when idling, but when i hold the revs at 1500ish, the car seems to vibrate a bit and seems like the engine almost misfires, but its quite subtle. Doesn't seem right to me? The garage i bought it from seemed to think it ran ok and was "a pokey little car".

Has anyone else had this or am i just being paranoid? Seems lately i've had all the problems this car can throw at me![/img]

You can get the right filter for the GTi (you new the extra rubber bits to get the right seal around the box) where abouts did you get it from? notice your in halstead im in colchester so not far!

If the car miss fires you no about it trust me! normally happens when your going along give it the big one and it will miss then pick up!
