Just a quick message to say a big thanks to everyone on the forum for all their help and advice. Ill call in now and then but will be packing my bags and heading over to the mk4 forum, as I have just bought a 1.8t!

My last car was a mk4 gti great cars but just too dear to run for me, i`m going for something bigger soon too matt still be a turbo diesel though, i like the 9n but it`s just too small :? , good luck with the the new car m8 :)

Funny ive just sold my mk4 and bought a polo tdi :) . but good luck with your new car.. looks nice 8)

Well have had the gti for a few days now, and loving it!!!

Handles well and has plenty of go, although im begining to worry about how much is going to cost to run....oh well!

ah ha, i fell in2 that trap!! u get so used to good running costs with the lil polo and then u expect the same with the more powerful car!
unfortunately its the whole reason i hads to give up my leon!!

but now i have the ibiza, i have better running costs, and cheap tax and insurance!! and with a little remap, it should be nearly as quick as the leon :lol:

How does the golf compare to your old polo? Are they about as quick as a 130 polo?
