Post by Manni »

Hi, im a new user to the forums, nice to meet you all :D

Just got my polo 9n a couple of weeks back, now looking to apply some modifications to it, but not sure which mods to apply.

Can any of you guys + girls recommend me any bodykits and front headlights?

There quite a few to choose from bodykit wise;

Votex Kit (Like mine in siggy)
Caractere
...etc

Headlight - bit limited i think. You can get FK Angel eyes, thread including pics lower down this page in the forum. Upgrade to HID (ie bulbs and ballast's - watch this space for pics of mine)

Yea, i quite like the votex kit, but been browsing thru pages and pages but couldnt find that much info on it.
Around how much is for this kit?

As for the lights, i've looked into the FK angel eyes, trying to find a site that do em for cheap ;)

FK Angel Eye's aren't cheap anywhere lol

Price for the kit from VW is around £725, thats just for the parts. You then have to get it sprayed and fitted.

Wow, so its probably going to cost around £1300-£1500, to get the kit, fitted and sprayed.

Looked through the forums, and many had this kit for sale for cheap, any1 still got 1 for sale because i might be insterested :D

Also, because many are selling this kit, is there a problem with the kit? or othere reasons? :?

Might be worth sending ceedubya a PM as he had one for sale recently.

Dout there's a problem with it, guess people just like to change the kit. I love mine 8)

Hi manni, first mod i`d suggest is a nice big set of alloys if you haven`t got them already :) i also like the reiger kit, there was a company on e-bay selling it not long ago can`t remember how much tho :? good colour choice by the way

i have a reiger lower rear spoiler on my car and the quality and fit is crap

i spent nearly a whole day trying to get it to fit right and it still aint 100% correct

the one that i fitted was the best of three, i sent the 1st 2 back

i could have just been unlucky ( 3 times  )
