Has anyone else had a broken seat back on their GTI:?:

I've been wondering why my drivers seat is getting uncomfortable... Just today I decided to investigate, only to find that the left side of the seat back is well out of shape - It leans back more than the right hand side! Plus the seat rocks about alot, as if it's got a loose bolt holding the subframe (which I have checked for!). Has anyone else had this problem?

PS Does anyone know a fix for this or is it a replacement job?

i would say if the seat backs out of shape, you must have twisted the frame so it will need replacing...... my guess is that you do more in your car then just drive it

or your a large chap lol.... my dad is a big bloke and he bust a few seats in his ford that he had years back

funnily enough I lent the car to my dad when I was away two/three weeks ago and when I came back it was like this!!!

I guess since neither of us are portly... DIRTY B******** My dad!
