1.9 tdi Heater

Post by Mak2503 »

My wife and I recently purchased a 51 reg Polo 2 door 1.9 tdi sport and find the car absolutely amazing. It has surprised me a few times with the amount of fuel it doesn't use.

The only problem we have found with the car is getting the temperature within the car at the right temperature. The car has air con and even though you have the left hand temperature control at cold for a few minutes it will still stay really hot. Even when you put the air con button on it will still stay hot for at least 5 minutes and then eventually cool down.

Is there any way of fixing this and has anyone had this problem?

mine too, I can never seem to find the right setting. Always fiddling with the temp switch but the same position will give different temp outputs from dasy to day? It keeps me busy on long journeys though so I shouldnt complain ; )
