What a great site!

I have just joined after finding the site about a week ago. I have been reading through quite a few of the topics on the site including the dreaded corrosion on the wheels. Yes mine too! Im not sure if the pic will show of my car but I guess I will find out.

I have just had my cambelt done so will be posting my story in the cam belt changed section!

My alloys are corroded too, and although I've been told by non-Polo owners that they don't look all that bad, every time I wash the car and clean the wheels I'm reminded that they are pretty awful IMO

but I'm still saving to get them done!

Quick note re the image, just pop the [img] tags around you link there in your signature and it'll show up fine. Eg. [ img ]http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/3900/gtipolo8bs.jpg[ /img ] without the spaces

I have updated the pic tag so hopefully itâ€™s right. Yeah the corrosion really shows up when there cleaned. It would be great to have them refurbished but it will probably cost a bit. Have you notice when washing the car that the rub around the back windows always come off, but the front seem much better, maybe better quality. Just one of them things you notice.

How do you change the size of the pic?

heya! I'm new too! glad I dont have the standard alloys if they corrode like youre saying, I got a set of 16's which are like the Golf R32 wheels but I dont know what make they are as they have VW centres and were on the car when I got it, look really good imo and better then the standard ones
