I personally think the rock, not to mention the practical reasons.

not the origainal vw flaps, the polo looks mean with black rubber flaps, im fitting them in a few weeks on2 mine, personally i think it give the car that wee mean muscle look frm behind

Not sure on that one.... Depends on previous owners I suppose...
Theres also polos without badges at the back while other come with them.... I guess it depends how generous Mr VW felt on the day....
