it could be done but for the work involved you would be betta off fitting a bigger engine ( like a 1.8t  )

the 9n engine bay is quite big compared to a lupo bay

How much would you charge? I'm thinking of doing this conversion later on this year

i aint got the room to do any work on other peoples cars at the mo :(

i dont see it being that hard to get it sitting in place tho, the 9n engine bay is very similar to most of the late vag cars inc the R32 ( pendulum side mounts and gearbox lower rear brace)

I think ceedubya did all the work himself?

If your planning on doing the work yourself your best getting a donar car so you have all the parts you need ready to be swapped straight over, plus it will work out cheaper in the long run

i did all the work on my car, the only cost apart from parts was gettin the wiring loom modified to fit into the polo (£300)

this is how i did mine and is the best way imo

the hard part is finding which parts will work and which ones dont,

Well your going to need the engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ECU, dials & immobiliser key, brakes and probably a few other bits I've missed off. Most people who carry out the conversion themselves find it easier to just buy a donar car so you can swap everything from car to car
