clonkin noise

got a clonking noise coming from the passenger side of the car when its on full lock im suspecting a knackered suspension leg or at the worst a cv anybody got any ideas?

Sounds like CV joint to me that mate. They aint too hard to do though to be honest.

nice one buddy shall have the wheel off tommmorow and have a butchers then go and get the part and get it all sorted the weekend :D should have some piccies up sundayish

you have to get the driveshaft out for starters, dont you? that's a mongolian clusterf*** in itself :lol:

I thought ya could jus knock off the joint with a mallet. Thats how ive always done them, avent done them on a polo though. Av done one on a corrado, much different?
