Well rodger me dry. Thats well s**t for you mate. Can't believe it. Its like there's a crime spree against our Polo Gti's.

Have noticed that the stamp on the window is different so now all four side windows don't match. Also don't think the window is quite fitted right as it makes a slight strange noise just before it closes.

Can't believe it.

Still I'm hoping (money permitting) to now bid on 77 TOM at the DVLA Auction in April.

i know how it feels when someone or people, do this, but then make off with pretty much all you've worked hard for.

I have had fitment issues in the past with windscreens. I now always specify that I want genuine parts. This also ensures that you get the correct tint.

What is it with people these days. You seem to be taking it all very well. I'd be in tears if that was me. But i do agree with you. Other people are probably going through worse things at the moment. You got a good way of thinking.

Anyway hope the idiots don't come back. Otherwise i'll be down to help you out.

Thanks for all the reply guys and gals....

The sage continues they came today at 4:30pm, however it was the wrong fitment.

They have fitted it as a temp measure and will then come down on saturday with the correct glass. It actual fits but the sliding down and up is slow as it is slightly too curved.

I have left the car locked up in my uncles drive for now.

I will be calling my insurance company and asking them what kinf of service they are running and to re-think who they out-source there window repairs to.

Il keep u posted.....

That the thing it didnt go off, am in the process of deciding what alarm to upgrade to was thinking the clifford 950, only thing is there is no paging function or add on, which I really want.

The ones that do paging are not as good as the clifford i have been told.

In a strange kind of way, I bet it's more annoying that they didn't take anything isn't it?

It's almost as though they broke the window for the fun of it

Its still puzzling me, nothing to steal apart form the car itself, bonnet was part open, you know when you dont shut it right.

Also they didnt even take my s2000 aerial

everything taken from the car, including air freshener, tax disk, sons car seat, alloys, floor mats, steering wheel, gear knob... well the list is pretty much endless, my stupid fault for advertising what I had in the boot across the back window really I guess but you never expect anything like that to happen! cant park outside your own house these days without worrying if your cars safe or not. takes the p***, still not seen anything which was taken that night and dont think i ever will
