B*llocks , interior lights gone!!!!!!

my fault... i was bored and drunk on saturday afternoon...went into the garage, fiddled about with a few things i was meaning to do with the car... had a light on the rear bump strip which was connected to the reg plate lights, wanted to take it off....pulled the wire out cos i got impatient with unscrewing the light case....... positive and negative must have connected and now at night i cant see how fast im going or how much petrol i have because the lights on my dials have gone, also the light on my radio has gone and the the reg plate lights have gone.my indicator lights(inside) still work, however my clock has reset .... tried to see if it was the fuse that had gone but couldnt seem to find one that had blown....
any help GREATLY appreciated.

I would start by changing the fuse even if its not blown.

One type in my old mk4 my central locking stopped working, as when i fitted the alarm, I put two wires in the wrong place. Checked the fuse box and it didnt look blown, but when i changed it all was well.

Its sounds like a fuse too.
