but I figured it'd create alot of hassle, not sure it's worth it
I wouldn't recommend it mate, it's really annoying when you have to change it yet there's sh!tloads of people going around with plates 100 times worse than mine.
This is the 2nd time now, but the first fine. So it's time to get a TOM plate I think, I worked out last night roughly that I should be able to go up to just over £3000 for 77 TOM, let's see them pull me for that
i spose a number plate like that will still be worth that price in a few years on (as long as the government doesn't make plates obselete and use tracking chips ignore me lol)
Not being funny but upgrade your car rather than get a new plate. To be honest people are genrally saying personal plates are becoming tacky.
I have a personal plate and would certainly not spend alot on another one. You could buy an s3 with 3k and you gti.
sorry mate but i have no sympathy (sp) for you. At then end of the day the plate is illegally spaced.
You could say my plates are illegal what with them being the german style ones, however all the letters are correctly spaced and aren't altered to read anything special.
I know that mate, I was just unfortunate enough to get picked up for it. The only thing that annoyed me was the fact it's perfectly readable, be it the ANPR or a speed camera, whereas there's others around that you can't read until your nose is near enough on them.
