Well, banded steelies are illegal for road use in this country. So I imagine it might be very hard to find a set.

hmm i see, ive found a company that i think make steel wheels from scratch, and make custom ones. Im assuming if i got steel ones made which were wider than average this would be legal? thanks chaps :)

Yeah will do :D ive jus emailed the guy findin' out whether he ships to the uk etc, but his company is called custom steel wheels so im assumin he'll make them to any spec, ill keep ya posted :)

*Update*
The guys emailed me back about these wheels. Hes quoted $65 per wheel, so thats like what £30 quid each (ish). Thats for 4 x100 fitting that are 7inches wide. Jus gettin a quote for how much it will be for shipping now :) ill keep ya posted.

So are these for 13s 7" wide made from scratch yeh? Sounds quite cheap at £30 each if postage isn't huge. Keep us updated :wink:

Nah thats 14 inch wheels mate :) its $65 dollars like i said i think that works out at about 30 ish :) im well excited :D lol

Right the guy emailed me back and has said basically that the only company they'll ship through is UPS, and the price for just shipping is $545 which makes it about £300(ish). I think thats gonna be too much for me to pay on just shipping:S If anyone wants the email address for the guy though let me know :) I like those R&A ones by the way, do they do a deeper dished wheel do you know?

mattig steelies are very hard to get hold of, i've been lookign for ages and have missed out on a couple of sets :oops:
