fuel pressure regulator

Hi,
ive just upgraded from my mk3 1.0 to a gt. the guy who had it before me has put a fuel pressure boost gauge on which i want to remove and make back to standard. does the mean i have to buy a fuel pressure regulator and is there anything else i need to buy which he will have removed?

Should be just the fuel pressure regulator. I may have a spare on a fuel rail at home.
