VW Polo GTI interiors?

Post by samuel090180 »

I have recently purchased a red VW Polo GTI on a W reg, it has black seat belts and black door cards.
But I have now began to notice that alot of other VW Polo GTI's have different interiors to mine, i.e. some have red seat belts and red red door cards or red door cards and black seat belts, is their a reason for this?
or are the interiors just randomly put-together?

Normally the interior colour is tied to the exterior colour.

Red cars having black interior, silver and black having red interior bits.

yeah mine has the red seat belts and door sections, and so does my mates silver gti. But ive never seen the inside of a red GTi so must just be the way they decided to select the colours for the red coloured GTi....probs didnt want to go OTT on the red? :)

Mine's red, with black seatbelts edged in red. Like most things with the GTi, there's very little consistency.

Still looking to swap my grey door cards for red ones.

AFAIK red seatbelts were an option, I can't remember if Silky said he's got black seatbelts and his is black.

all the red cars have black door cards - as has been posted , seems VW thought it would be a red overdose!

Mines the same, 51 plate, black paintwork, black belts (kungfu jokes welcome  ) with red edging.

If the belts & door cards are a different colour in the red GTi. Are the seats the same colour as the black & silver GTi :?:

What do all you guys & gals think about the 'number 1' on the seats :?:

Personally i think it looks ok, but my missus doesn't like them much (don't know why, you sit on them & don't really see the number 1 :? )
& i had to look for some seat covers.

It worked to my advantage, because i found some decent looking wolfsberg edition covers in black for the 2 front seats & the rear. :D
