Have you tried Martyn at VAG Parts?. The BBS centres look good.

Is that from a VW dealer or someone else?

When I bought mine I just told them what car I had and said I wanted the caps for them.

phew, else id need a loan to buy some too lol

no idea why you need a wheel part number to find out the centre cap part :?

anyway, they should be 55m diameter to fit

bbs cap = 1H0 601 171B BXF
normal b/w vw cap = 6N0 601 171 BXF
blue vw cap (i think part is correct) = 6N0 601 171

I used to have the black bbs carbon effect ines but i decided to sell them and get the grey bbs ones that come on bbs ra's. I rang VAG parts and they said that the grey ones had been replaced with the black carbon ones! Doh!!

So im now trying to find out if the new style bbs rx2 rim in 17" caps will fit my wheels

This is the cap im trying to get...

Its off the 17" BBS RX2 wheel. Don't think it comes on a vw as standard?

Don't think it standard either, perhaps in a different market abroad?

I meant which car, Golf 2006? Polo? maybe then I can find it in parts catalogue, doubt my chances though

I once saw a picture of a normal VW centre cap, but it was all silver just like in the pic. Certain it was off a Polo Colour Concept BBS, but never found the part number

:(

Far as I'm aware VW don't fit the new BBS RXII to any vehicle.

Might want to try http://www.performancealloys.com/ccaps.asp they might be able to source the silver ones.
