Alright ppl. Just a question. In the mornings or from cold start ive noticed that there is a smell of petrol coming from the outside of my 9N. Ive not noticed it whilst warm though, which i believe means that its running rich.
Ive only noticed it recently, as im using it more everyday and now and its up the motorway everyday. Because of this i let it warm up by leaving it started in the mornings before driving it so maybe ive just noticed this smell as i didnt used to do this before
Unlike my old MK4, my 9N Idles a bit high when started from cold, about 1,150 rpm, after its warmed up it idles to just under 750 i think once warm.
any ideas or anything to sort?
cheers
Smell of petrol
