hi all does any one know the co2 emmisions to work out the new road tax?

just need to work out what band the gti is in. people with older gti then the y reg have to pay the top section.

Mine's a W and at the end of last month I forked out Â£170 for my 12-months tax. My mate "only" forked out Â£165 for his 1.8 Leon though

My mum and dad pay Â£165, although its an 03 plate.

That's for a 2.4 Audi A4 Cabriolet!

1 Years Road Tax on a GTI in Ireland: â‚¬391.

That's abound Â£270-280. We don't go for all this sensible carbon nonsense, just a whole heap of grades based on CC, to a max of â‚¬1400 for over 3 litres.

Still, at least our petrol is cheaper
