what are you guys getting from a full tank?

hi guys

only a quick one my dads been going sick at me, saying that my car is well too thirsty, am running a powerflow catback and KnN induction kit, i dont drive like a tool lol but my dads just wondering how many miles i should be getting from a full tank??

335 miles i checked once ive got no engine mods though, although some of the time i was caning it and others i was taking it slowly.so varied driving styles

about 270 miles on a full tank of optimax. I drive like a prick, and it's a 1.3L so not as efficient as the CL.

the only mods in my mk4 were a k&n and a rage backbox, and i got around 270-280 miles from a full tank

mine was a 1.4cl like yours

I get about 270 in the GTi and that's pretty much all town driving.

think i get just over 300, but it's all motorway, mine is a 1.4 SE, not sure what that means, but yeah pretty pleased with my milage from a full tank. and if anyone knows what the SE means in the way of engine, please let me know.

i bought a car from leicester last friday and drove it home to bonnie scotland

we filled up 40 litres and it done 380 miles to the tank full. this is in a 1.4 16v but was all motorway miles sitting at 75-80mph

this is going to be irrellivant due to the fact my car is a diesel, but i can get around 450 miles out of a tank driving steadily, not that much flogging the nuts off it though

thats good, do you mainly drive economically then? i tend to drive econimcally but have a tendency to push it a fair bit so i get about 220ish out of my GTi

If by economically you mean above about 3-4k rpm all the time yeah

I like to put my foot down wherever possible (on 60 roads anyway) the least I've had before the light coming on was just over 260.

i assume your using ultimate/optimax?
