Humm,

But fitting that GTI splitter in the front bumper was a hard thing to do or was it easy - plug and play?

I was thinking of getting a ibiza splitter ( which requires a little modification) but the GTI would look better.

I haven't got a GTI frontlip, a m8 of mine has, don't know if it's hard to install, but I recon it aint that hard, since it's an original Polo mk4 part

UP-DATE

Last saturday I went to a m8 of mine, who's a car mechanic, and drives this mk4:

Image

Jep, that's a 1.8 20v Turbo from a Adui TT in there 8) good for a "lousy" 255 bhp

Image

And he's got a TT interior (dash and front and rear seats).

But for the up-date, he helped me out with the timing-belt (changed it) and all the other crap that's on that side, plus we put in my new camshaft from the Polo GT.
Power and torque have improve substantially noticeble!

Here some pics:

On the bridge:
Image

Pop that hood!:
Image

Gettin' some work done:
Image

Old camshaft out:
Image

Old cam to the left, GT cam to the right:
Image

GT cam in:
Image

Me timing the bloody bastard, also had to completely adjust the ignition timing  :
Image

And after closing everything up again:
Image

The test-drive was "a lot of fun", more power noticible @ every rpm, but after 4000 rpm it really gives a good kick, sounds a bit more "rouring" too

Your mates car looks well nice Jarno, inside and out. That dash fits in real nice.

Here's my brandnew exhaustmanifold, in the box the mailman gave me, together with the Supersprint cat-replacing muffler, ready and waiting for my trip to my "exhaustman"

And here's the inletmanifold with the flowed throttle body and injectorhousing, today I gave a start in overhauling it and assembling it, need to buy some parts tomorrow after work, hopefully will have it assembled before end of next week.

And sandpapered a lot of interior crap today, I'll try to make some pictures tomorrow

Thnx for the comments!

Got a new up-date,

First the mailman brought me a package from Germany this morning! :D

Image

Here's what was in it:
Image

11 chromed screws for the sidepanels for under the hood, and a chromed cap for the tank which contains the fluid for washing the windows. I sprayed the tank itself balck maigc metallic (original VW color :) ), will try to get some pics of this tomorrow.

And this weekend I finally got around to install me doorpanels back in:
Sprayed the handels and handels for the windows the same black magic metallic color, just like some more interior parts:
Image

Fitted the tweeters from my JBL composet in the doorpanels and sprayed the holders for the tweeters also in the black magic metallic color  (it's all gonna be black magic metallic on the inside :D )

Image

Also moved the filter from the composet into the door inself:
Image

And here's my new centre console:
Image

Of course I'm gonna spary it in......black magic metallic 8)

But first, since I don't smoke, and never let anybody smoke in my car, I decided to "clean away" the cigaret lighter and ashtray, so I melted it all to the centre console:

Image
Image

And started to fill up the little openings that were left, to get a smooth result after spraying it:
Image

Already worked a lot on smoothing the lower console, it's gonna be black magic metallic too!
Image

I smoothed al those nasty little lines and the parts where you can stick in coins/cash, now it's almost completely smooth, just needs some little more work before I can start spraying it 8) :
Image

Hope to get it both sprayed asap! :D
