Post by polo69 »

Came home and found this on my drive way, dad had kept it a secret, parents obviously, but was a bit jealous.

Went and had a wee seat, and my dad asked if i wanted to go for a spin, he's bloody got me on the insurance, any driver :D Cant believe it!!

Impressed with the gauge that tells you what gradient you are on.

Very nice :D
Looks like I'm going to be driving a 2.5 turbo mitsubishi for a week or two while the scirocco gets fixed.. shame it's a diesel mk1 shogun.. not lacking in grunt, but hardly the ultimate drivers car ;)

I was thinking more +100, with suitable wheels and tyres. Front bar, spots and a winch.

yeah, 113hp, but with a 2.5 diesel how much goddamn torque does that represent?

it'll pull your eyes out!

This 2.5 litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel unit gives an output of 115bhp at 4,000rpm with maximum torque at 177lbs.ft at 2,000rpm. For those looking for a few more horses the Mitsubishi Power Upgrade Pack is available priced at £595 (plus VAT & fitting) raising power to 138bhp at 4,100rpm.

Well, ok maybe it won't, but it'll still kick like a stallion from impressively low revs
