anyone know if i would have any trouble with lowering a saloon mk2 70mm on standard wheels????

it would be fine but ground clearance would be very low

i would lower it 70mm on 14" alloys or steelies

im not sure if you can lower it on 15's yet

nah shouldnt have too much troubles.. ground clearance shouldt be TOO much of an issue if your carefull (basing this on polos in general rather than salons)

Do it man... will look good

sorry to hijack this post, but does this mean that -70mm (im plannin using avenom motorsport loweriung kit) springs or springs and damper will be fine over 13" alloys? ive got a g-reg mkII.

if so which would be better? springs alone or springs and dampers?

if your lowering more than 40mm its best to do the springs and dampers

im planning on dropping it 70mm over stock wheels painted cherry red with whitewall tyres.the body is either gonna be matt black or matt green any ideas on which colour???? with a full on fake fur interior?[/img]
