BMC induction kit
Its important (for me, at least) to keep the noise down on the motorway! This is why I had my Powerflow changed to make it quieter - but under hard acceleration it still makes itself known! Once at a steady cruising speed its not so bad at all, and I'm hoping that a BMC would not be too intrusive at that kind of speed either. 70-80mph is the test, thats where my car is loudest, a touch under 4,000 revs once at 80mph. Up at 90mph and 4,200ish revs, the VVT has kicked in and everything becomes much quieter.
Those of you going to the Pod on Sunday will find out how loud my Powerflow is (lovely burble at idle, loudish under load, muted at cruising speeds), and basically I don't want the car any louder

Si, it sounds like you've got the perfect sounding exhaust system, i think it was you who made a video once you had it done (when you overtook that micra/metro) and it sounded good, ill look forward to hearing it at the pod.
Im the kind of person that doesnt like loud noises on motorway travels (due to my old car annoying the hell out of me with the noise) i think, dispite how loud the bmc may be, im still going to go for it, it seems worth it.

Yes, engine is the same as the Lupo. As for what you need, a silicone seal doesn't ring any bells to what i got. Just make sure you get:
1. Air box
2, 90' rubber bend
3, jubilee clips
4, approx 0.75M of flexi tubing!
Ask for a crankase breather filter too. I bought a BMC one for about £10, but you can buy which ever one you want as long as it fits onto the breather pipe!

No problem Clees.
When i bought mine i was a little worried if i'd be able to fit it or not, but i found it really easy.
If ya get stuck though, add me to your msn. I'll try and walk you through it. If not, take a drive over Woodhead to Sheffield and i'll give you a hand in fitting it. Then on your way back, you'll be able to enjoy the sound and responsiveness of your new addition to your car!
