Can anyone recommend a decent Digital camera?
want decent picture quality (not great)
but it needs to have loads of memory and take short vids (its gonna be used for shows)
No price limit but nothing ridculous please!
Can someone recommend.....
Most (if not all) camera's allow you to insert any size memory disc/card in so you can decide for yourself how much memory you want. I'd recommend you mine but it's not that good - it's excellent for taking car pics (since they tend to be stationary) but anything that isn't perfectly still will make the pic all blurry. Also, if you look real close some parts of the pic aren't as sharp as they should be.
There are some dedicated digicam boards out there, I'll try to find some usefull links.

Can't say I've heard of it before. Judging the specs, there's a few things that I notice:
- No optical zoom (could be unimportant to you)
- Only 1,3 Mp (again, could be...)
- What brand?
If you stick to that general price range and the shop you're looking at, I'd probably go for the Fuji Finepix a202 @ 99 quid. Doesn't have a zoom either, but at least it's a brand I know and trust. Tried two Fuji's now *but higher up in the tree*, and both are top quality.
On the subject of Megapixels:
I've made the nicest photos of my car with my brother's 2mp Canon camera. The 3mp cameras I tried (mine, dad's, other brother) didn't match the output of the Canon. Same price, lower mp, but still better pics. Lens quality is something you find out afterwards, most of the time...
