Want bigger discs for my MK4 any suggestions?

Help! - I brakes aint very sharp at the mo and i wanted to get new bigger ones to improve braking- could i use discs from another vw vehicle?

yes, but you will also need larger calipers and maybe calipers

if you have a 1.4 16v then you will already have the same calipers as the G60 so will only need G60 carriers and 280mm discs... if you have an 8v you may be able to uprate to the 6N2 GTi set up running 256mm discs... not sure?

either way you will need a donor vehicle with same hubs (4x100 PCD etc)

Ive got 256mm discs and g60 calipers (i think??) on my 8v as its running 16v hubs - the breaking is incredible now compared to what it was like before.
