Fog lights Polo 2000 model

Post by Raincheck »

Hi,

Ordered fog lights online with the grills found the wires when I replaced the grills and installed the fog lights and connected the wires but what now? Checked the Polo manual to see how to switch them on! But could not find it. Tried to pull the light switch but only my rear fog light turns on. Do I need to add more hardware like a relais and if so where do you place it (and where to buy this) does any one know where to find a manual how to do this and what's needed. Your help is more then welcome as the fog lights are not working.

Thanx in advance

Rick

I'm pretty sure you need a new switch, which will should have the double click when you pull it out, once for front fogs and the second for the rear fogs.

Hope that helps.

To get them working without a switch, you could just put an inline fuse on the +ve lead and then connect both power leads to your battery

Better off putting the switch in!
