Ok so i've got my 2nd hand replacement wiper motor and am now trying to fit it. I've taken off the wiper arm and all the relevant bolts but am having problems with the washer fluid pipe. There's a metal clip which helps hold the pipe onto the motor but i can't get the damn thing off! In the process of trying to i've managed to break part of the old motor, so theres still a small piece of plastic stuck in the pipe.

Anyone know the best way to get the clip off or loosen it enough to take the bit out? It quite tight around the pipe and i can't seem to get anything in it to prise it off and don't want to break anything!

Ok so i was nearly getting there but now the motor i bought doesn't work! Connected it up but nothing. I did notice that the actual arm is longer but other than that it looks identical to my old one - is there a possibility it doesn't work because it's the wrong one? I just want to make sure before i email the ebay guy and tell him it's faulty.
