front components

i know this should probably be in the i.c.e section but i thaught i might get a more specific answer in here. anyhooo... does anyone know about fitting new components in the front doors of the 9n. i have had the door card off and noiced that the current speakers sit out from where they are rivveted on

would i need to get a spacer of some sort and am i right in saying that the speakers are 6.5". cheers in advance

you can either drill the rivets out, or cut the hole things out, then i think you need to buy a collar and screw that in where you have drilled out, if that makes sense?

theyre 6.5" yes, but i think you can fit a bit of a range of sizes as you put in whatever collar you want
